How can I use my prepaid Mastercard to purchase food?

 

With your virtual prepaid Mastercard, you can purchase food for your team using one of these easy-to-use food delivery apps, OR by simply calling your local restaurant and asking if they accept payment over the phone.

HOW TO USE YOUR MASTERCARD AS PAYMENT FOR YOUR ORDER:

 

  1. You will need to sign up for a free account to the food delivery service you choose or login to your existing account.
  2. Once signed up, add your prepaid Mastercard as a saved payment method in your account and make sure to select it at check out or make it your default payment method.
  3. Make sure your purchase (including delivery fees and a tip) does not exceed the value of the Mastercard.  Most food delivery services do not accept split tender.  

 

Below you will find tutorials on how to add your prepaid Mastercard as a saved payment method in each of the 4 sites mentioned above:

 

Slice: From the slice app, simply go to “Add Payment Method”. Copy your virtual Mastercard number from your certificate and paste into the payment info fields along with the expiration date, CVC code and your zip code.  Once the payment method has been saved, begin making your purchase. Keep in mind that the total for your order, including fees and a tip, should not exceed the total card amount.  If you have multiple cards saved to your account, make sure to use the correct one from your saved payment methods. 

 

 

DoorDash: From the DoorDash app or website, click on “Payment” from the main menu.  Go to the “Add New Payment Method” section and click on “Credit/Debit Card” and copy your virtual Mastercard number from your certificate and paste into the payment info fields along with the expiration date, CVC code and your zip code.  Once the payment method has been saved, begin making your purchase. Keep in mind that the total for your order, including fees and a tip, should not exceed the total card amount.  If you have multiple cards saved to your account, make sure to use the correct one from your saved payment methods.

Uber Eats: With Uber Eats, you can either save your new payment method to your wallet or add it at the point of purchase.  We recommend adding the card at the point of purchase.  To start, add items to your cart until you are satisfied with your purchase.  When you are done, click “Add NEw Payment MEthod” from the payment options and paste your prepaid Mastercard information in the fields provided.
